This post is pretty much off topic, but when I have a great interest in China-natal and the Internet so it seemed reasonable to write something anyway. I saw a very good documentary on SVT for a while ago that raised the fact that the Internet is extremely limited, monitored and censored in China.
So far nothing new. The new for me was that Yahoo! China on several occasions helped the Chinese authorities with information on individual users that has led to these users prosecuted and imprisoned for the opinions they expressed. Yahoo! Also refuses to make any observations about the specific cases.
